The 27th episode was highlighted by the unexpected appearances of Aashika Bhatia and Elvish Yadav.

Duties of a Captain

A captaincy task was held on Bigg Boss, and Avinash Sachdev and Manisha Rani were selected to participate. Aashika Bhatia and Elvish Yadav were already set up as judges in the activity area, so they headed there. Manisha and Avinash's assignment was to create clever and entertaining hashtags for the images shown on the LED screen. Hashtags should reflect the craziness of the Bigg Boss contestants. Manisha and Avinash wrote captions for the prisoners' pictures. Manisha was named task winner by Aashika and Elvish, making her house captain for the week.

Wild card entries

Aashika Bhatia and Elvish Yadav were introduced as wild card competitors on the 27th episode of Bigg Boss OTT Season 2. Bebika was overjoyed to meet Elvish when he came. Bebika's picture was displayed on the LED screen during a captaincy task, and Manisha remarked that, despite being insulted by everyone, Bebika fights with everyone. Manisha was insulting Bebika, but Elvish set her straight. Bebika thanked Elvish for defending her, saying it was very thoughtful of him to Pooja Bhatt. I'm a fan of this dude. Bebika welcomed Elvish Yadav into the home, explaining that he was the only one who could understand her at first. Bebika was seen as pleasant by both Elvish and Abhishek Malhan. Bebika and Elvish flirted with one other in a friendly way, and she even offered him food. Elvish said that he had heard that Bebika was a nice and sweet person. Bebika even read Elvish's hand and said he worked hard and tried to do things right. A good time was had by all, as Bebika and Elvish were spotted making fun of Avinash Sachdev and Jiya Shankar.

Bebika Dhurve found out through Manisha later that Elvish had suggested proposing to her. Bebika pressed Manisha for an honest answer. Manisha said that even though Elvish seemed lighthearted at first, he was actually rather serious about what he wanted with her. Abhishek made a joke to Elvish about how nice he looked with Bebika, and Manisha mentioned it.

Elvish came in and immediately began making jokes about Avinash Sachdev and Jiya Shankar. Later, when Avinash was sitting alone, Elvish went up to him and asked what he did for a living. Avinash said that he has been acting for 18 years and has been in 11–12 productions. Then, to make fun of Avinash, Elvish lied about what he did for a living and told Avinash that he owned a perfume shop. 

Jiya Shankar walked in at that point and sat down next to Avinash Sachdev. Elvish was curious about Jiya's occupation and if she, too, worked in television, so he asked. Jiya set him straight, telling him, Not a TV actor, just an actor. In response, Elvish said that the terms TV actors, big actors, and actors are all synonymous. Jiya advised Elvish to stick to using the term actor throughout.
