The episode starts with Rishabh also making an effort to remove the sindoor mark. The man comforts Preeta. Shrishti reassures Preeta that Rishabh won't allow Arjun to stand in their way. Preeta is never alone, says Rishabh, so don't worry. He assures her. He ensures them that Kavya is their daughter, that he will pick her up from school, that they are all safe in the house, and that nothing terrible will happen. He assures the family that everyone will be safe. Shrishti and Rakhi hug Preeta. Preeta's cries cause Rishabh to cry. He was running to her room, Preeta. Srishti and Rakhi follow Preeta. Rishabh is urged by Mahesh to use his rage as a source of power. He claims that Arjun has exceeded all boundaries today, and Rishabh must thus give Arjun a lesson. Arjun, he continues, doesn't merit their generosity.
Anjali phones Arjun, but there is no reply from the other party. When she sees Arjun hurt, she is shocked. She forces him to sit while attempting to tend to his wounds. Arjun, however, stops her and attends to his injuries. She inquires as to his creation by Luthra. He says nothing. She promises to put Luthras in jail, she says. He robs her of her phone. He admits what he did in the Luthra residence. She kindly reminds him of his engagement with Nidhi. He explains to her that he must pursue his objective. He claims he wants Preeta, his mother, and everything. She tells him that he wants Preeta. Preeta wipes the vermilion on her face as she sobs after seeing herself in the mirror. She opens the shower after entering the restroom.
Arjun explains to Anjali that he did that to demonstrate Preeta is unworthy of love. Anjali asks him if he has considered the repercussions. He informs her that he is aware. Preeta won't comprehend what is occurring, he claims, and he will exact revenge. He claims that just as Preeta put death in her destiny, he also wrote his name in Preeta's. He goes into the bathroom and gets soaked. Preeta is welcomed into his life. He believes he will not allow anyone to hurt him. Preeta, according to him, never loved him. Hence she did not recognise him.
Preeta remembers how she met Karan, how they got married, and how Arjun painted her forehead with vermilion. Vermilion, she claims, is staying. Rakhi informs Preeta that it's only colour and not vermilion. Preeta affirms Rakhi's accuracy. Preeta is told by Rishabh that nothing happened and that he is with her. He uses oil to erase the vermillion.
Srishti tells Preeta not to worry because Rishabh won't allow Arjun to stand in the way of their relationship. Rishabh assures Preeta that she doesn't have to feel lonely. He ensures her that he will never leave her. He assures her that she is secure and won't permit any harm to the family. At the same time, he was holding Rakhi and Preeta's sobs. Preeta is assured that everything is alright by Rakhi. In an embrace, Srishti tells Preeta that they are with her.
