Lulu Fashion Week is a newly established IP by the Lulu Group that promises to be one of the year's most interesting fashion events. The topic of this year's LFW is India's emergence in global fashion. It will be a star-studded affair, bringing together celebrities and influential individuals from fashion, entertainment, and retail under one roof. Do you know who these celebs are? Deepika Das, Kushee Ravi, Divya Suresh, Vinay Gowda, NC Aiyappa, and Anu Aiyappa are among the notable names.

The event is organised by Levi's in collaboration with Flying Machine, an indigenous denim brand owned by Arvind Mills' textiles business. Rajesh Shetty, a celebrity stylist, designer, and fashion choreographer, will choreograph the show.

LuLu Fashion Week 2023 will also include a fashion conference and fashion awards, bringing together professionals from the fashion, entertainment, and retail industries. In addition to fashion events, the mall will offer art and cultural activities.

LFW 2023 is being staged at different Lulu-operated shopping complexes around the country. From April 26 to 30, the event took place at Kochi's LuLu Mall. Following Bengaluru, the next stop will be LuLu Mall in Lucknow from May 12 to 14, followed by the concluding leg at LuLu Mall in Thiruvananthapuram from May 17 to 21.

LFW in Kochi

LuLu Fashion Week 2023 featured over 30 brands throughout its five days of runway shows at Lulu Mall in Kochi. The event's goal was to promote diversity and inclusion while highlighting design talent. 

The event, organised by Levis in collaboration with Flying Machine, included a diverse selection of clothing designers presenting their summer 2023 designs on the runway at Kochi's Lulu Mall, according to a press statement from the event organisers. Sargam Kaushal, the Mrs. World 2022 title winner, officially opened the event on April 26. 

LFW in Bengaluru

The inaugural edition of LFW in Bengaluru featured design Shows, Fashion Awards, and a Fashion Forum, showcasing high-end couture to streetwear; luxury accessories to eco-friendly design. The event brought together celebrities and prominent figures from the Sandalwood, fashion, entertainment, and retail industries under one roof.

Across three days, notable models walked the runway for leading labels such as Levi's, Peter England, Flying Machine, Kraus Jeans, Caprese, Croydon, Identiti, American Tourister, Jockey, VIP, and others. Lulu has organised a one-of-a-kind fashion presentation including senior couples and children to emphasise the notion that fashion truly is for everyone.

Following the fashion show, the Lulu Group will present the Lulu Fashion Awards, which will acknowledge the outstanding accomplishments of renowned people and brands in the fashion sector. The 'Style Icon of the Year' award will be one of the most prominent.

Fashion students can take advantage of this opportunity because the Lulu Fashion Forum will be held for students and fashionistas from all across Bengaluru. Many fashion students from major universities throughout the city will be invited to the debate at Bengaluru's Lulu Mall.
