SAB TV Channel Details

Culver Max Entertainment owns the Indian pay channel Sony SAB (formerly SAB TV). Gautam Adhikari and Markand Adhikari introduced Sony SAB on April 23, 1999, as SAB TV under the umbrella of their firm Sri Adhikari Brothers. It was initially introduced as a comedy channel in Hindi. SAB TV was acquired by Sony Pictures Networks in March 2005 and renamed Sony SAB with a new emphasis on all-around entertainment before eventually becoming a youth channel. Sony SAB modified its positioning in 2008 to become a Hindi-language generalist network.

On September 5, 2016, the channels high-definition stream became live. The longest-running program is Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Maddam Sir, Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey, Dharm Yoddha Garud, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Pushpa Impossible, and Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul are some of the shows now airing on Sony SAB as of 2022.
