The Joy of Giving Week 2021: ‘Gift a Tring, Gift a Meal’

Every year, a large number of business bodies, civil society organizations, schools, and other institutions participate with zeal to commemorate this Utsav and assist those in need. Originally known as "India Giving Week," the name "Joy of Giving Week" was chosen from a list of options supplied by Euro RSCG India, the ad agency that handled PR, creative, and media services for the "Joy of Giving Week." 

So you must be curious to know when is ‘The Joy of Giving Week’? Well, Every year, between the 2nd and the 8th of October, Daan Utsav, or the Joy of Giving Week, is held, which includes Gandhi Jayanti. This week urges everyone to offer something, whether it's their time, money, resources, or skills. The joy of giving week teaches us about the numerous advantages of "acts of giving." Many non-governmental organizations and corporations backed this project. Corporations participate in this project as part of their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) responsibilities.

The thrill of giving causes a person to greatly expand his or her life. The best thing is that it offers you a sense of accomplishment when you help individuals in your community. The simple act of giving brings delight to a person's life and enhances his own happiness. Because it takes guts to give anything from your life to others, the satisfaction of giving is immeasurable. This year, Tring has taken up the responsibility to be compassionate, care for others, and assist those in need to restore our humanity. With that in mind, Tring along with GiveIndia is working towards the ‘Gift a Tring, Gift a Meal’ campaign to contribute to the betterment of society.
