Aishwarya Rajesh is an Indian actress who predominantly works in Tamil movies in addition to Telugu and Malayalam films. Aishwarya Rajesh was born on 10th January 1990 in Chennai Tamil Nadu. Aishwarya Rajesh’s age is 32 years. Aishwarya Rajesh is called Aishu with love by her parents. Her Zodiac Sign is Capricorn. She has won four SIIMA Awards a Tamil Nadu State Film Award and a Filmfare Award South. Apart from acting she is also a dubbing artist.

The 2019 action comedy-drama film Namma Veettu Pillai was written and directed by Pandiraj and produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures. Sivakarthikeyan and Aishwarya Rajesh are the movie's main actors and Anu Emmanuel Samuthirakani Soori Bharathiraja and Natarajan Subramaniam are among the supporting players. 

D. Imman composed the soundtrack for the movie and Ruben and Nirav Shah were in charge of the film's cinematography and editing. The movie premiered on September 27 2019. The movie had a favourable reception from the audience and was a commercial success. 

The film hit the box office in the first five weeks and collected ₹50 crores (US$7.79 million) in Tamil Nadu.

Mei (2019)

Mei is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language medical thriller movie that was written and directed by SA Baskaran. Aishwarya Rajesh and Nicky Sundaram two new stars played the key parts in the movie. Kishore Charle Ajay Ghosh and Vinod Krishnan play supporting roles.

Kousalya Krishnamurthy (2019)

The 2019 Telugu-language sports drama film Kousalya Krishnamurthy was written and directed by Bhimaneni Srinivasa Rao. It was produced by K. A. Vallabha under the Creative Commercials brand. With music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas the movie features Aishwarya Rajesh Rajendra Prasad Karthik Raju and Sivakarthikeyan in a supporting parts. 

Aishwarya Rajesh makes her Telugu debut in this movie a remake of the 2018 Tamil blockbuster Kanaa. Sivakarthikeyan-related scenes from the first movie were reused in this one. The movie opened in theatres on August 23 2019.

Kanaa (2018)

The Tamil-language sports drama Kanaa starring Sathyaraj Sivakarthikeyan Aishwarya Rajesh and Darshan was released in India in 2018. Arunraja Kamaraj who is directing for the first time wrote and directed the movie. The movie opened in theatres on December 21 2018. 

The film was edited by Ruben with cinematography by Dinesh B. Krishnan music by Dhibu Ninan Thomas and was produced by Sivakarthikeyan under the auspices of his recently launched Sivakarthikeyan Productions company.  Kousalya Krishnamurthy a Telugu remake featured Aishwarya and Sivakarthikeyan in the lead roles. 

On December 21 2018 the film was eventually released with overwhelmingly positive reviews.

Vada Chennai (2018)

Vada Chennai was written and directed by Vetrimaaran. This film is an action-crime drama which was released in Tamil in 2018. Dhanush plays Anbu a talented carrom player who reluctantly joins a gang fight between two competing gangsters. 

The film is produced by A. Subaskaran's Lyca Productions Dhanush's Wunderbar Films and Vetrimaaran's Grass Root Film Company. Along with Dhanush major parts are also played by Andrea Jeremiah Aishwarya Rajesh Ameer Samuthirakani Daniel Balaji Kishore and Pawan.

Due to post-production work Vada Chennai's initial release date of 13 September 2018 during the Ganesh Chathurthi festival was moved to 17 October 2018. The film was well-reviewed by critics who praised the cast's performances and the narrative while criticising the dialogue. 

After its premiere the movie caused controversy in the fishermen's community where a couple of the film's sequences were deemed disrespectful. The director ultimately opted to cut these sections from the film and add additional new ones. Commercially it was successful.

Chekka Chivantha Vaanam (2018)

Chekka Chivantha Vaanam a 2018 Indian Tamil-language criminal drama film co-written by Siva Ananth and directed by Mani Ratnam is titled Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. The movie which is directed by Mani Ratnam and produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies stars an extensive ensemble cast that includes Arvind Swami Jyothika Arun Vijay Silambarasan Vijay Sethupathi Thiagarajan Prakash Raj Jayasudha Aditi Rao Hydari Aishwarya Rajesh Dayana Erappa and Mans.

In her TEDx talk Aishwarya Rajesh shared some inspiring words. Aishwarya detailed her life's challenges in her speech before discussing how she eventually become a successful actress. Two of her three older brothers she claimed passed away tragically. She had three older brothers. 

According to the actress she began her life as a little girl living in a housing board in Chennai as a member of a lower-middle-class family. 

Aishwarya Rajesh and her brothers were raised by their illiterate mother who sold sarees and worked as a LIC agent. While filming the movie Kaaka Muttai a specific scene was shot in a slum area. 

After the release of the film during her promotional interviews Aishwarya Rajesh stated that she had no clue what a slum area is.
