Asees Kaur dreamed of becoming a playback singer since she was a child. She began singing Gurbani at the age of five. Tamanchey's Dildara Reprise marked her Bollywood debut. Since then she has collaborated on several Bollywood songs including Ve Maahi from Kesari Makhna from Drive Bandeya Re Bandeya and Tere Bin from Simmba Akh Lad Jave and Chogada from Loveyatri and Bolna from Kapoor & Sons.
