Divya Gokulnath is an Indian educator and entrepreneur. Divya is the co-founder of BYJU'S a leading ed-tech company in India that offers online learning programs to students in K-12 and test preparation.
Under Divya's leadership BYJUS has become one of the most successful and popular ed-tech startups in India. Divya has been recognized for her contribution to the fields of education and entrepreneurship. She was named in Forbes India's Women Power Trailblazers list in 2019 and was also featured in Fortune India's 40 under 40 list in 2020.

Divya graduated from Frank Anthony Public School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from RV College of Engineering in Bengaluru. She met Byju Raveendran who was teaching her GRE exam prep course after graduating in 2007. Because of her questions during class breaks Byju encouraged her to become a teacher.
Divya's father works as a nephrologist for Apollo Hospitals and her mother is a programming executive for the television network Doordarshan. Her parents have only one child. Her father taught her science as a child.
