Mandana Karimi began her career as an air hostess before quitting to pursue a modelling career. She came to Mumbai for three months in 2010 on a modelling contract after working on several international modelling projects. Shahrukh Khan Saif Ali Khan Kareena Kapoor Shahid Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor have all appeared in Karimi's TV commercials.

She made it to the show's finale where she was declared the show's second runner-up after playing a strong game.
