Megha Akash’s Telegu Debut Movie- LIE (2017)

LIE: Love Intelligence Enmity is a 2017 Indian Telugu action movie was directed by Hanu Raghavapudi who also co-wrote the screenplay with Jakka Hariprasad. Under the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment Ram Achanta Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara produced it. Nithiin Arjun Sarja and Megha Akash a debutante all starred in the movie. Mani Sharma created the soundtrack and J. Yuvaraj oversaw the film's photography.

The movie opened in theatres on August 11 2017 to positive reviews from both critics and viewers who described it as a simple one-time watch. The script photography background music action scenes editing and production values were highly applauded especially Arjun's performances. 

However there were complaints about the climax storyline director and love story between the major characters. The movie had a dismal box office performance and lost up to 25Cr.

Karthik Subbaraj is the writer and director of Petta an action drama movie released in India in 2019. Under the name Sun Pictures Kalanithi Maran produced the movie. Along with Simran M. Sasikumar Trisha Bobby Simha Megha Akash Malavika Mohanan Mahendran Guru Somasundaram Sananth Vijay Sethupathi and Nawazuddin Siddiqui who play supporting parts the film also stars Rajinikanth. 

Anirudh Ravichander wrote the music while Tirru handled the cinematography and Vivek Harshan handled the editing. In the movie Kaali an unusual turn occurs when a hostel warden meets paths with a gang of criminals. The movie premiered on January 10 2019.

The movie received favourable reviews from critics who praised the director cinematographer soundtrack and musical score as well as the cast performances but faulted the running time.

Silambarasan Ramya Krishnan Prabhu Nassar Megha Akash and Catherine Tresa are among the cast members of this Telugu version of Attarintiki Daredi (2013) which also stars Yogi Babu and Mahat Raghavendra in supporting parts.
