Pamela Chopra, previously known as Pamela Singh, was an accomplished Indian playback singer. She was married to the renowned Bollywood film director Yash Chopra and had her own successful career as a film writer and producer. Sadly, she passed away on 20th April 2023.

Pamela Chopra was a multi-talented woman who worked as a singer, writer, producer, and designer throughout her career. Pamela Chopra and her husband Yash Chopra are the producers of well-known films such as Aaina (1993) and Dil tho pagal hai (1997). She also worked as an associate producer on films such as Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Mohabbatien, Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Mere yaar Ki Shaadi Hai, and Veer-Zara.

Childhood 

Pamela Singh, born on 19th February 1948 in Lahore, Pakistan, was the daughter of Mohinder Singh, an officer in the Indian Army. She was the eldest among her two younger brothers. Due to her father's postings in various remote locations across India, Chopra received her education at multiple army schools. She was also the cousin of actress Simi Garewal, as Chopra's father, Mohinder Singh, and Garewal's mother, Darshi Garewal, were siblings.
