Remo went on to say that the two had very different personalities and had a history of fighting like cats and dogs. Dance India Dance (2009-2011)

Essel Vision Productions conceived and produced Dance India Dance an Indian reality dance competition television program that airs on Zee TV. It debuted on January 30 2009. Mithun Chakraborty was referred to as Grand Master and the judges are referred to as Masters here. The Masters were Geeta Kapoor Terence Lewis and Remo D'Souza from Season 1 to 3.

The structure of the show requires dancers from a range of styles to enter open auditions held in Indian metropolises to demonstrate their individual styles and talents. If selected to continue they are then put through mega-audition rounds of auditions to gauge their versatility. At the conclusion of the mega audition the top 18 dancers are selected as finalists and advance to the competition's main phase.

There they will compete for votes from the broadcast viewing audience which along with the judgement of a panel of judges will determine which dancers will move on to the next stage from week to week by performing solo duet and group dance numbers in a variety of styles.

The performance includes a wide range of Indian cultural and international dance forms including classical contemporary Bollywood hip-hop jazz kalaripayattu salsa and musical theatre styles among others with representation from various sub-genres of each of these styles. In an effort to survive multiple weeks of elimination and win a financial prize frequently other prizes as well as the title of India's Best Dancer competitors try to master these techniques. F.A.L.T.U. (2011)

The group along with Vishnu Google and Bajirao convert F.A.L.T.U into an official trust university because they are unable to send them back. The government soon accuses every student and member of F.A.L.T.U of fabricating a college and starts a lawsuit. Now the gang of friends must defend their rights and work to keep F.A.L.T.U open so that the youngsters can receive an education. The trio and the college smuggle themselves into a song competition at the end. It comes as a surprise that Vishnu gets up and claps when the performers from F.A.L.T.U conclude their performance because it was Vishnu's father who had originally brought the case against them.

Ritesh responds with a speech about the school system and how F.A.L.T.U improves it when the education minister inquires about F.A.L.T.U and what it was. Finally the college receives a licence to operate as an official college for three years and Vishnu's father agrees to join him in accepting the college.

ABCD: Anybody Can Dance (2013)

ABCD: Anybody Can Dance is a 2013 Hindi-language dance drama film that was produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur under the banner of UTV Spotboy Motion Pictures. It was directed and choreographed by choreographer Remo D'Souza. Prabhu Deva Ganesh Acharya and Kay Kay Menon also appear in the movie. Dance India Dance performers play supportive roles. On February 8 2013 the movie was released in 3D worldwide along with the dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu titled ABCD and Aadalam Boys Chinnatha Dance respectively. On June 19 2015 ABCD 2 the sequel was made available.

Dance is more than just a hobby for Vishnu widely considered as India's best dancer. He feels as though the oxygen has been sucked out of the air when his unscrupulous business partner kicks him out of the posh dancing academy that he founded. Vishnu who is brokenhearted chooses to give up dancing and leave Mumbai for good. The night before he leaves though he sees an incredible sight: a group of dancers getting ready for the forthcoming Ganpati Dance Battle an annual festival where the top dance groups from Mumbai compete against one another. Vishnu makes a decision after observing the incredible skill of these dancers. He will take this diverse bunch under his wing help them get over their animosities and help them face their previous demons so they may become India's best dancing team.

ABCD 2 (2015)

Disney's ABCD 2 commonly known as Any Body Can Dance 2 is a 2015 Hindi-language dance movie that was produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur and Walt Disney Pictures and directed and choreographed by Remo D'Souza. Varun Dhawan Shraddha Kapoor Prabhu Deva and Vernon Monteiro who played the founders of the fictional dance crew The Kings and went on to win the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in San Diego are portrayed by Dhawan Pujari and Prabhu Deva respectively in the film which is a standalone sequel to the 2013 film ABCD: Any Body Can Dance.

The most well-known dancing group in Mumbai the Mumbai Stunners is where the narrative starts. The team enters a dance competition but is disqualified because they used a dance routine that belonged to another team. Only a few people including Suresh and Vinnie remain when the other half of the group splits off. To assist in getting the group to an international Hip Hop Competition in Las Vegas Suresh hires a new choreographer named Vishnu Sir. They travel to Las Vegas and pick up new comrades. In this story a group of people go through a difficult moment in their lives and overcome it with some ups and downs along the way.

One of only two Disney original musical films in the Indian market ABCD 2 was released by UTV Motion Pictures on June 19 2015 in 3D. Sachin-Jigar composed the soundtrack and background score and Mayur Puri authored the script and lyrics. The backdrop for the dancers' rehearsal area in the early part of the movie was the decommissioned cruiser INS Vikrant. The screenplay was written by Tushar Hiranandani and D'Souza. ABCD 2 received mixed to excellent reviews. While the writing and length of the film were criticised its production design choreography soundtrack and performances by Deva Dhawan and Kapoor received appreciation.

A Flying Jatt (2016)

Remo D'Souza co-wrote and directed the 2016 Indian superhero movie A Flying Jatt which was made by Balaji Motion Pictures. Tiger Shroff Jacqueline Fernandez and Nathan Jones play the main characters in it. 

The narrative of Aman Dhillon a kid who acquires abilities from a miraculous tree is told in A Flying Jatt. On August 25 2016 over the Janmashtami weekend the movie was released globally. Mixed to unfavorable reviews were given to the movie. A Flying Jatt has been made into a graphic novel by Thought Bubbles Studio Planet. The story continues where the film ends.

Jatt is a reluctant superhero who defends the public and fights criminals. He encounters his match in the villain Raka whom he must defeat to prevent disaster.

Race 3 (2018)

Remo D'Souza and Kiran Kotrial wrote the script for Race 3 a 2018 Indian Hindi-language action-crime film that was made by Tips Industries and Salman Khan Films. Anil Kapoor Salman Khan Bobby Deol Daisy Shah Saqib Saleem and Freddy Daruwala are among the actors who appear in the movie. It is the third movie in the Race series which began with Race in 2008 and Race 2 in 2013 however it is seen as a reboot of the 2008 original because of its loosely connected plot to the other movies.

Shamsher Singh a weapons dealer moved his family to Al Shifa island 25 years ago when the Indian government accused him of conducting an unauthorised trade in weaponry. Rana a competitor in business has frequently assaulted him. However his nephew Sikander who is also the person closest to him and who is likewise capable of taking over his business constantly came to his aid. Shamsher's twin children Sanjana and Suraj don't get along with Sikander. Shamsher longs to return to India and Sikander represents his only chance. Based in London Street Dancer 3D examines the conflict between an Indian dance team and a rival Pakistani dance team whose members attempt to establish their superiority until they compete in Ground Zero one of the largest dance competitions. For reasons of different wills they enter the competition but under difficult circumstances and in the wake of painful memories they come together to win.

Originally intended to be a sequel to Disney's ABCD 2 (2015) the movie was given its current name after Bhushan Kumar took over as producer following Disney's withdrawal from Indian film production. Punjab where filming first started in February 2019 was the final location before it was finished in London in July 2019. On January 24 2020 the movie had its Indian theatrical debut to mediocre reviews.

Fraud Allegations

Satyendra Tyagi a businessman filed a complaint against D'souza in 2016 at the Sihani Gate police station in Ghaziabad alleging the choreographer defrauded him of Rs. 5 crore. In order to invest in the movie Amar...Must Die Tyagi alleged D'souza received Rs 5 crore from him and promised to return twice the amount following the movie's premiere. D'souza allegedly refused to return the money after the film's premiere and hired a gangster to threaten Tyagi. The matter was now being tried before a magistrate court in Ghaziabad.

Remo D'souza was given a non-bailable warrant by a magistrate court in Ghaziabad for failing to appear in court despite prior summonses. This Monday D'souza went to the high court to ask for temporary release from arrest so that he could go to the UP court and ask for the warrant to be cancelled. On Wednesday Justice K K Tated's vacation bench heard his petition. The warrant had not yet been delivered to the suburban Amboli police station in Mumbai according to additional public prosecutor Jayesh Yagnik who also testified before the court. Therefore he continued there is no discussion of taking action against D'souza at this time. The petition was rejected after Justice Tated accepted the statement.
