Early life
Gurjar was born on September 26th, 1985, and he is originally from the town of Dabra in the state of Madhya Pradesh. He won the national gold medal in kickboxing when he competed in it years ago.
Career
Professional wrestling career
During the month of December 2011, he participated in the India project, Ring Ka King, hosted by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling. During this time, he wrestled under the ring name Deadly Danda. Along with Abyss, Scott Steiner, Nick Aldis, and Sonjay Dutt, he was a member of the heel stable RDX which was run by Jeff Jarrett. On January 14, 2018, Gurjar became a WWE employee after signing a contract with the company. As a competitor in the Worlds Collide men's battle, Gurjar made his first appearance on television for the very first time. On the episode of NXT that aired on March 25, 2020, Gurjar and Rinku Singh attacked Matt Riddle, and it appeared as though Malcolm Bivens was acting as their manager. The following week, Bivens would reveal their team name to be Indus Sher and would introduce them as Rinku and Saurav. After Gurjar posted a photo on Instagram of Keith Lee holding both the NXT Championship and the NXT North American Championship, both of which he won and retained respectively, at NXT's The Great American Bash (2020), which had not yet aired at the time the photo was uploaded, Indus Sher stopped making appearances on television in June.
On the episode of NXT that aired on January 18, 2022, Saurav, now performing under the ring name Sanga, was repackaged as a bodyguard for Grayson Waller. On the other hand, Waller dismissed Sanga during the episode of NXT that aired on April 12, and the following week, Sanga was defeated by Waller in a singles match. Sanga reformed Indus Sher in October with Veer Mahaan, the former Rinku, who had recently returned to NXT at the time. When the WWE Draught took place in 2023, both Sanga and Indus Sher were selected to compete for the Raw brand. This led to Sanga's promotion to the main roster. On May 15th, Sanga made his Raw debut alongside Veer, where they competed in a tag team match against local talents Drake Thompson and Lavar Barbie and won.

In 2013, Gurjar made his first appearance on television, which marked the beginning of his acting career. His first ever appearance on television was in an episode of the show Mahabharat, in which he played the part of Bhim. From 2013 until 2014, the program was broadcast on Star Plus and ran for a total of two years. After that, he made an appearance in Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman between 2016 and 2017 playing the roles of Ravan and Bali.
