Apur Sansar popularly known as The World of Apu is a 1959 Bengali-language drama movie that Satyajit Ray produced wrote and directed. It is based on the second half of the novel Aparajito by Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay. The World of Apu is the third and final installment of Ray's The Apu Trilogy which also includes Pather Panchali (1955) and Aparajito (1956).
