Indian international cricket player Shivam Dube is a member of the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and Mumbai in domestic cricket. Career

On January 18, 2016, he made his Twenty20 debut for Mumbai in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for the 2015–16 season. On February 25, 2017, he made his List A debut for Mumbai in the Vijay Hazare Trophy for 2016–17.

On December 7, 2017, he made his Mumbai first-class debut in the 2017–18 Ranji Trophy. He claimed his first-ever five-wicket haul in first-class cricket during the opening innings. In the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy match between Mumbai and Railways on November 2, 2018, he achieved his first-class cricket century. He claimed seven wickets for 54 runs in his subsequent match, another five-wicket haul against Karnataka. Dube hit five sixes in an over during the Ranji Trophy match against Baroda on December 17, 2018.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore acquired him in the player auction for the 2019 Indian Premier League in December 2018. Ahead of the 2021 Indian Premier League, Dube was acquired by the Rajasthan Royals in the IPL auction in February 2021. He was purchased by the Chennai Super Kings in February 2022 during the Indian Premier League 2022 auction.

For four crores, CSK retained him for the 2023 Indian Premier League. Throughout the season, he amassed 418 runs in 264 balls at an average strike rate of 158.33 and an average score of 38. When he scored 52 runs in 27 balls against his old team, the Royals, it was his finest game of the season.

CSK paid 4 crores to keep him for the Indian Premier League in 2024. In the season's second encounter, he scored 51 runs in 23 balls against Gujarat Titans. For this effort, he received the "Player of the Match" award.

Dube was included in the Indian Twenty20 International (T20I) team for their series against Bangladesh in October 2019. On November 3, 2019, he played his first T20I match for India against Bangladesh. Dube was included in India's One Day International (ODI) team later that month for their series against the West Indies. On December 15, 2019, he played his first-ever ODI match for India against the West Indies. In the fifth Twenty20 International match against New Zealand on February 2, 2020, Dube bowled the second-most costly over in the history of the competition, giving up 34 runs.

He grabbed a wicket and conceded nine runs in the first Twenty20 International match between India and Afghanistan on January 11, 2024. He scored sixty runs off forty balls. He emerged as the fourth Indian to score half a century along with a wicket in a T20I match.
