Shraddha Das was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra to Bengali parents, into a family that followed the Buddhist religion. Her mother, Sapna Das, is a doctor by profession, and her father, Sunil Das, is a businessman who was born and raised in Purulia.
Shraddha's first movie was the Telugu movie Siddu from Sikakulam, which came out in 2008. After Target, she quickly signed on for four Telugu films within six months: 18, 20 Love Story, Diary, Adhineta, and Sukumar's Arya 2, which was her first high-profile role. In 2010, Shraddha made her Bollywood debut in Sanjay Puran Singh Chauhan's first movie for Sai Om Films, called Lahore. Shraddha's first movie was Lahore. She filmed it during her last year of college, but because of delays, several of her other movies came out before Lahore. In the movie, Shraddha played a Pakistani psychiatrist, and her performance was praised by critics. The movie came out in March 2010 and won awards at the 42nd WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival and the 57th National Film Awards. It is about the relationship between India and Pakistan. The other three films she was in were A.
Karunakaran's Darling, Maro Charitra, which was made by Dil Raju and was a remake of the same name from 1978, and P. Vasu's Nagavalli. In all three, she was the main character. Shraddha is known as the sequel queen because she has been in the sequels to Arya (Arya 2), Mantra (Diary), and Chandramukhi (Nagavali). Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji was her second Hindi movie. It came out in 2011. In the next two years, she was in two films. Hosa Prema Purana and Dracula 2012 were her first films in Kannada and Malayalam, respectively.
The Royal Bengal Tiger, which came out in 2014, was Shraddha's first Bengali film. Later that year, she had two Hindi films come out: the romantic comedy Lucky Kabootar and the well-known erotic thriller Zid, directed by Vivek Agnihotri. Both films opened to mixed reviews, but Shraddha got more offers from Bollywood after Zid came out. Before Zid came out, she made headlines when she said that her co-star Mannara hurt her during filming and hit her while she was tied down and gagged for a scene.
Shraddha has finished filming Rey, Bandipotu, and Superstar Kidnap, all of which are Telugu films. In the movie Rey, she plays an American pop singer. She has said that her role in the movie is almost as important as the hero's and that her character is a little bit weird. In Superstar Kidnap, she will play a powerful goon, and in Bandipotu, she will be part of an item number. She has also finished making Chai Shai Biscuit, a Bollywood movie that she agreed to do before Zid came out. At the beginning of 2015, she was filming two horror films that were in both Telugu and Hindi. These are Ouija and Haunting of Bombay Mills. She will also be in the movie Great Grand Masti. Later, she was in three films that were praised by critics and audiences: Guntur Talkies, Garuda Vega, and Badsha the Don, all in Telugu, with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Hindi, and Badsha the Don, in Bengali. In 2021, she played an interpole officer in the popular Kannada movie Kotigobba 3, which starred Kiccha Sudeep.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who plays the role of Babu, is an experienced shooter. In preparation for this role, he received specialized training in the use of firearms and in combat. In addition, the film features the crisp dialogue of Ghalib Asad Bhopali, who is based in Prague. These dialogues add humor and spark to the traditional Indian flavor and dialect. The film was shot by Prague-based cinematographer Vishal Vittal, who gave the film's rural setting in Uttar Pradesh an international look. During the filming, we utilized the services of a specialized dialect coach in order to get the natural flavor across. In order to achieve a genuine appearance, extensive research was conducted for both the costumes and the sets. Jeet Singh was responsible for the choreography of each and every song.
