Speaking of the storyline, Tara Singh and his son Charanjeet, affectionately referred to as Jeete by his parents, will emphasise Gadar 2's unbreakable father-son relationship. Actor Utkarsh Sharma will repeat the part of an Indian soldier in this scene. According to reports, the plot will jump forward 20 years to focus on the India-Pakistan conflict in 1970. This time, Tara Singh will cross the border for his son's safety rather than his beloved wife, Sakeena.

Release

The Indian Independence Day Weekend will coincide with the theatrical premiere of Gadar 2: The Katha Continues on August 11, 2023.
