The most anticipated glimpse of the Kathanar is out and has left the audience eagerly anticipating its trailer. Starring Jayasurya, Anushka Shetty, Vineeth, Kathanar- The wild sorcerer is a film based on Kadamattathu Kathanar who is believed to have lived in Kadamattom and possess supernatural powers. Directed and edited by National award winning filmmaker Rojin Thomas, written by P. Ramanand and produced by Gokulam Gopalan, the horror fantasy thriller is a malayalam language film.
The exact details of the movie Kathanar are yet to be released but the teaser is creating waves of excitement since its release. The plot of the movie revolves around a priest called Kadamattathu Kathanar who is believed to have lived in Kerala and possess supernatural powers.
The teaser delivers breathtaking glimpses of sorcery. Kathanar seems to be offering never seen before visuals to the Indian audience.
Given that the TV series of the same name has long since firmly established itself in Malayali audiences' hearts, the plot for "Kathanar" is solid and relevant. The audience will be treated to a visual treat with well-packed substance when Jayasurya reprises the role of ‘Kathanar.’
