The story of two unfortunate lovers takes place in a modern context in the film Metro in Dino, which is written and directed in the style of a musical romantic comedy. • Aditya Roy Kapoor -  Aditya Roy Kapoor began his career as a VJ on channel V India. Along with VJ Bruna Abdullah, he hosted shows like Pakao and India's Hottest up till 2008. In the Hindi film London Dreams, which also starred Ajay Devgn, Salman Khan, and Asin Thottumkal, Aditya Roy Kapoor made his acting debut in a supporting role. In 2013, Kapoor's musical romance Aashiqui 2 became his first commercial triumph. He starred in the romantic comedy Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani that same year, for which he was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor and won the IIFA Award for Best Supporting Actor. • Sara Ali Khan - Sara Ali Khan made her acting debut in 2018 with the love drama Kedarnath and the action comedy Simba. She won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for the first of her two commercially successful movies. Sara Ali Khan was listed in the 2019 Forbes India Celebrity 100 list. Following two films that were not well regarded, she starred in Atrangi Re, a drama, then enjoyed commercial success with Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, a romantic comedy.
• Ali Fazal - Ali Fazal debuted in 2007's English language film The Other End of the Line. In 3 Idiots, he played Joy Lobo. Always Kabhi Kabhi, Roshan Abbas' romance film produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, followed. Fazal played struggling musician Zafar in Fukrey, a modern comedy. In Bobby Jasoos, Fazal played Tasawur alongside Vidya Balan. He starred in Khamoshiyan. Furious 7 was his first American picture. He then led Happy Bhaag Jayegi alongside Diana Penty.
• Anupam Kher - Saaransh, which was released in 1984, was the film in which Anupam got his first role in Bollywood. In the movie, he portrayed the role of an elderly professor who was 65 years old. After that, he worked on films such as Tezaab and Vijay, for both of which he was nominated for the Filmfare Award in the category of Best Supporting Actor.
• Konkona Sen Sharma - Award-winning actress Konkona Sen Sharma is the daughter of renowned actress and director Aparna Sen. • Pankaj Tripathi - In his early years in the industry, Pankaj Tripathi appeared in a number of movies with supporting roles, including Run, Apaharan, Omkara, Shaurya, Raavan, Children's Party, and Agneepath, among others.
• Fatima Sana Shaikh - In 1997, Fatima Sana Shaikh made her feature film debut in Chachi 420 alongside Kamal Hasan. Bharti, the daughter of Jaiprakash Paswan, was the character she played. 
• Neena Gupta - Neena Gupta is well known for her work in both art-house and mainstream movies. For her role as a young widow in Woh Chokri, she got the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress.
