Story

Bomman and Belli, an indigenous couple, are entrusted with caring for Raghu, an orphaned young elephant, in the novel The Elephant Whisperers. They go to tremendous lengths to ensure the weak, damaged baby survives and matures into a healthy adolescent. The couple and the elephant grow to have a close relationship. The documentary emphasizes the Mudumalai National Park's natural splendor, which is located in South India. It investigates how indigenous people live in peace with nature.

Character Analysis

PlayBomman and Belli are the tribal people in the woods of Tamil Nadu. They are assigned to be the official caretaker of a baby elephant named- Raghu. Belli is the first woman assigned to look after an elephant.

They are kind, naive, and caring. Ever since Raghu entered their lives, they have been even more joyous. The love of Raghu replaces the agony of losing her daughter. Raghu is naughty. He plays with both- Bomman and Belli. He wipes Belli’s tears when she misses her daughter. He kicks a football far while playing with Bomma. Both are grateful to God for sending Raghu as a blessing in their lives.
