In order to participate, individuals must first download the JioCinema app and then upload a video of themselves singing or rapping. The size of the video should not exceed 50 MB. In case you are chosen, you will be required to perform an audition in front of the MTV Hustle team and judges.
Auditions
In the first season of the show, there were a total of 40 contestants chosen from the online registrations on Voot, but only 15 rappers were given the opportunity to fight against one another. The judges evaluated each rapper on the basis of their writing, the flow of their rhyming, and their overall performance.
The second season of Voot utilised online auditions to choose the top 16 contestants. Badshah made the decision as to which contestants would be placed in each squad, and now the four Squad Bosses will be responsible for training the participants and judging them based on their talent, performance, technique, melody, and narrative.
