Plot

Wagle Ki Duniya prides itself on being a different show from any other television soap viewers can come across. It shows a common man and his family breaking stereotypes. It also portrays how a family, with grandparents and children, thrives together and learns through the mutual exchange of experiences. It shows how friends, relatives, parents, siblings, and children can learn from each other and live in harmony.

In one arc of the show, Atharva becomes environmentally conscious and decides to conserve water by adopting extreme steps such as not bathing. He is ridiculed at school but is still firm on his decision. The family finds out he did this after being inspired by an influencer. This particular arc was not just a message about environmental consciousness and how it can be practised in moderation but also how teenagers and impressionable and can be easily influenced by online content, especially influencers.

Another arc shows how Rajesh's family life is turned upside down when his estranged brother shows up and how the family deals with it. Rajesh's promotion is affected, and his parents are worried about this new change in their life as the family adapts to this development. 

The show also focussed on depression and showed how Rajesh and Vandana helped one of Atharva's friends who was depressed and suicidal. They made it to the right place in the nick of time and convinced the young boy not to take any drastic steps. They also pointed out how depression is a serious issue and can happen to anyone, irrespective of age, and how it is important for parents to support their children in times like these.

The show also tackles various issues that several other TV shows have not tried to address. Right from mental health, molestation, and sexual harassment, female foeticide, child labour, and many other social issues. This has made it especially interesting for viewers who are not used to seeing such content on TV.

• Vandana Wagle: Vandana Wagle is Rajesh's wife; her world mostly revolves around her children and family. She is supportive, smart, and a guiding force for Rajesh.

• Sakhi Wagle: Sakhi Wagle is the elder daughter of Vandana and Rajesh, a young adult and very supportive of her parents. Sakhi believes in dealing with difficult situations through maturity and always looks to her parents for guidance.

• Atharva Wagle: Atharva Wagle is the family's youngest member and is often shown as a mischievous and innocent character. He loves going on adventures with his best friend and idolises his sister Sakhi.
