Jubilee is an Indian Hindi-language period drama television series released on Amazon Prime Video. The series, released on 7 April 2023, created and directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and produced by Andolan Films, Phantom Studios, and Reliance Entertainment, features a star-studded cast that includes Prosenjit Chatterjee, Aparshakti Khurana, Sidhant Gupta, Aditi Rao Hydari and Ram Kapoor.
Jubilee is a captivating Indian television series set in the enchanting yet turbulent golden age of Hindi cinema - the 1940s. The story from Vikramaditya Motwane and Soumik Sen follows the unyielding pursuit of stardom by a man that leads to unexpected and disastrous consequences. The series eloquently portrays the passion, politics, and competitive frenzy of that era, underpinning its narrative with a mix of fictional characters that echo actual actors and filmmakers of the time.
A theatre actor, Jamshed Khan, is selected. He hopes to give the pseudonym, 'Madan Kumar', to the person selected. However, Jamshed is currently in an extra-marital affair with Sumitra Kumari, a high-profile Bollywood actress and Roy's wife. Exactly a month before the Independence of India and Partition, bonafide producer, Shrikant Roy, who owns the studio, Roy Talkies, in Bombay, is currently on the search for a new actor to debut and act in his latest film, Sunghursh, as the protagonist. With both its owners dead, Roy Talkies is shut down. They both plan to run away to Karachi. A distraught Sumitra commits suicide. To break free of Roy Talkies, Madan uses a fake government letter to persuade Roy (a frequent gambler) to invest all of Roy Talkies' money into cotton stocks, then alerts the Income Tax Department. The police subsequently raid Roy Talkies and place Roy under arrest.

Jubilee is available on Amazon Prime Video. They unveiled the release date along with a teaser on March 17, 2023, and the show was subsequently launched on April 7, 2023.
