Ram Prasad Mishra received a salary of Rs. 150 per month when hired, but Leela Mishra received a salary of Rs. 500 per month. However, their contracts were terminated because they performed poorly in front of the camera.
The following opportunity was a job offer to work on the film Bhikarin, which was being made by a company that belonged to the Maharaja of Kolhapur. Leela Mishra, however, was unable to take advantage of this opportunity because it called for her to embrace the actor (who was not her husband) as she spoke, which she flatly refused to do.
