Neerja Punia is an Indian transwoman runway model. She recently gained prominence for her debut in the popular TV show called MTV Roadies season 19. She has become the first trans woman contestant on the show. Despite having faced difficulties in her journey of life she was headstrong and dedicated to secure her spot in the show.

It is the world's first and only transgender-exclusive model agency situated in Los Angeles; this institute was founded, owned, and directed by Filipino-American director Cecilio Asuncion. She also became the first trans woman to participate in the MTV Roadies season 19 . She made her debut in the television industry with the show that is shown on MTV India and is also available on JioCinema and Voot. Neerja has been applauded through her career for breaking societal barriers and making her way through the gender norms and the challenges that come along.

Roadies Karm Ya Kaand is the nineteenth season of the Indian reality show MTV Roadies, produced by Banijay Asia.Sonu Sood hosts the show, which premieres on MTV India on June 3, 2023 and is available digitally on JioCinema. It also sees the return of gang head Prince Narula, as well as new gang leaders Gautam Gulati and Rhea Chakraborty. Shiv Thakare, an ex-Roadie, appeared on an episode during the Auditions. MTV Roadies Karm Ya Kaand auditions were held in Chandigarh on 13 April 2023, Delhi on 15 April 2023, Indore on 20 April 2023, and Pune on 22 April 2023. Neerja got into Rhea Chakraborty’s team in the show and passed the audition .
