Pravisht Mishra was widely appreciated for his role as Prince in the series Mahabharat.

He then appeared in more mythological shows such as Siya Ke Ram as young Bharatha and Suryaputra Karn as young Yudhistir.

Pravisht's portrayal as Sahil Sanklecha, the parallel lead in Sony TV's Mangalam Dangalam, in 2018 marked a watershed moment in his acting career. This demanding part was followed by a compelling depiction of Pulkit Rastogi in the Star Plus television series Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum. These roles were merely stepping stones in his career, as he later landed the lead part in Colours' show Barrister Babu as Anirudh Roy Choudhary. The complexities of this character—an attorney who believes everyone deserves justice—showed Pravisht's dexterity in his roles. Later in his career, he played the major part of Yuvan Singh Rathod in the Star Plus drama Banni Chow Home Delivery. The actor has also worked in a web series called Apharan Season 1 in 2018. He played the role of a schoolboy.

It's about a woman, played by Ishaa Koppikar, who becomes Mumbai's first female crime lady. The film was finished in 2005 and debuted as the opening film at the Rome Film Festival, as well as at the New York Asian Film Festival. On August 26, 2011, the film was officially released globally.
