Vinoth wrote the script in the middle of 2018, however, Ajith first rejected it and told him to finish it later. The project was formally launched in mid-October 2019 and its title was revealed when the idea was later offered in January 2019 and Boney Kapoor agreed to produce it. Despite the COVID-19 epidemic disrupting production, principal photography started in Hyderabad in December 2019 and ended in February 2021. The majority of the movie was filmed in Chennai and Hyderabad, with a few episodes also being shot in Russia between late August and early September 2021.

Naren, alias "Wolfranga," is the leader of Satan's Slave, an illegal motorcycle gang that operates in Chennai and engages in narcotics trafficking, snatching, theft, and murder. Due to the out-of-control increase in these crimes, the city commissioner Vijayakumar assigns the case to ACP Arjun Kumar from Madurai, who is renowned for his unique approach to administering justice, which stems from the moral values instilled in him by his mother Lakshmi and involves breaking one of the limbs of the convicted so that they never repeat their crimes.
Arjun's family's only source of income, which includes his younger sister, who is married, his younger brother Ashok "Kutty," a jobless graduate, and his drunken older brother and his wife, is provided by Lakshmi. Arjun and Lakshmi are concerned about Kutty's persistent disdain for his sister's in-laws, whose daughter he is in love with. Arjun discovers the body of a man in a hostel with the help of his girlfriend and friend Sophia, whose acquaintance had betrayed the group and provided drugs to him.
The biker group slew the latter after they found out about his treason, whereas the former had destroyed the drugs and killed himself by hanging. The man was a motorcycle thief who rode a stolen motorcycle that Arjun had purchased from an internet black marketeer after discovering the man's helmet in his room. Arjun and Sophia can piece together the crimes committed by Satan's Slave.
The motorcycles used in the crimes were purchased from the same platform using stolen mobile devices via the dark web, and it is believed that the same organisation is responsible for all of these crimes. After sending one of his colleagues, who was posing as a mercenary to thugs, to locate the kingpin, he stopped dealing drugs. After learning about Wolfranga, Arjun and the gang engage in a bike chase and close combat. Arjun eventually defeats Wolfranga and the group and takes them into custody. To his surprise, however, he learns that Kutty was also a gang member. Satan's servants ambush the convoy as they are being taken to jail, killing the police officers and helping Wolfranga escape. Arjun tries to corner him, but Kutty knocks him down, and the group flees.
Kutty rejoins his family, but not before being brutally abused and taken captive. When Arjun successfully steals the cocaine, Rajangam, Anbarasu, and the other mules are exposed and captured. When Arjun gets to the hideout, he engages Wolfranga in battle and wins. By successfully hacking Satan's Slaves' server, the crew can draw the motorcyclists to their covert location. When they get there, they discover Wolfranga dead, and the cops surround and capture them. At the station, Arjun persuades the motorcyclists to put in extra effort and work through their issues by emphasizing their parents' love for them and the pleasures they forwent to raise them. This frees the bikers. Arjun and the police department receive praise from the public as the case is effectively concluded. As a result of their efforts, the police set up a programme to help young people recover from depression and drug use.
The Tamil-language film "Valimai" release date is 24 February 2022. The film was initially scheduled to be released in 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The film was produced by Boney Kapoor and was directed by H.Vinoth. The distributors of the film Valimai are Zee Studios, Romeo Pictures and Gopuram Cinemas. The film is huge hit in the Tamil industry.
Valimai is a Tamil movie and has been very praised by audiences the film was released post-pandemic and still did great at the box office. In the end, Valimai is a conflict between right and wrong. There are obvious comparisons to Batman. Like the superhero in a mask, Arjun doesn't think putting criminals to death will end crime. Especially when battling evil villains, he is frequently seen wearing all-black clothing and hiding his face beneath a helmet. He is up against an anarchist who rejects society as a whole. And at one point, he is forced to decide between protecting the lives of the general public and those of his loved ones.
And Ajith portrays this part with superhuman acuity. He is seen as a character by the other characters as well. The actor uses his star power to boost the other scenes while adding believability to the stunt scenes. For example, when he has to break someone's arm in prison, it sometimes works, but other times it doesn't (the monologue in the climax). Overall, Ajith performed best in the film. The movie is perfect action, drama and thriller, and one should definitely watch this amazing film.
