Indian Idol

Indian Idol is a musical-based competition/singing battle where various talented participants from all across India come together on one stage to compete against each other based on their voice and understanding of music to win the country-wide title.

It is adapted from the British show Pop Idol and has been airing on Sony Entertainment Television since 2004. Indian Idol's 14th season began with a huge virtual debut that embraced the digital era. The country prepared itself for yet another melodious spectacular loaded with talent, feelings, and incredible musical adventures as registrations opened on July 8.

Concept

This singing reality TV show is a platform for aspirant singers to audition and participates to win recognition and build a network in the music industry of India. These viewers usually vote out of personal choice/preference, sympathy, affection towards the contestant, and sheer dedication towards their art, i.e., singing. The contest takes an interesting turn of climax when multiple cut-throat aspirants are a part of the finale stage, making it an exciting series of episodes leading to who will finally win the trophy and prize money. Registrations (2023) 

Registrartions for Indian Idol 14 started on 8 July. Participants can register online via the SonyLIV app and access the registration link to complete the form carefully per the instructions.

Once you visit the official channel website or the SonyLiv App, tap on the link for Indian Idol 14 registrations and fill up all your details like name, address, email ID, contact details, etc. Once you complete the details, the portal asks you to upload your best audition video, which makes for your visual portfolio.

Release Date

After 13 successful, exciting seasons across the years, Indian Idol is soon to release its next season, i.e., Season 14. The official announcement and details about Indian Idol 2023 auditions, the registration process, etc., are to take place in July 2023. The last season was released on September 10, 2022, and episodes of the same were telecasted on the weekend (Sat & Sun), 8.00 PM.
