Aap Ke Aa Jane Se shows Vedika Gupta, 42, a straightforward single mother who struggles with various difficulties. She lives in Kanpur with her mother Manjula and her 15-year-old daughter Arya Mathur. After finishing his studies, Sahil Agarwal, a reckless young man of 24, goes back to his house. 

Sahil’s senior aunt Bimla arranges for him to marry his friend Nidhi. Sahil finally falls in love with Vedika, but she rejects him because of their age difference and other social issues. However, she soon comes to love Sahil and accepts him.
