Andaz Apna Apna is a Hindi-language comedy film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Vinay Kumar Sinha that was released in 1994. In the major roles are Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, Karishma Kapoor, Paresh Rawal (in a dual character), and Shakti Kapoor. On November 4, 1994, the picture was released. Despite being a semi-hit at the box office, the picture has become a cult classic over time. The film's lingo like "Teja main hoon, mark idhar hain" and "Crime Master Gogo, Mogambo ka Bhatija" has become part of everyday speech. This film's conclusion is a rehash of the climax of the 1972 film Victoria No. 203.

Both Amar Manohar and Prem Bhopali live with their dads, Murli and Bankelal, and are daydreamers. They discover that Raveena Bajaj, the daughter of wealthy Ram Gopal Bajaj, is travelling to India with her assistant Karishma to seek a suitable husband. Amar and Prem plan to court Raveena in order to gain a piece of her father's fortune.

When Amar and Prem flee their towns and board a bus destined for Ooty, where Raveena and Karishma dwell, they meet. They quickly realise they are pursuing the same aim, and while they fail miserably in their attempts to woo Raveena and Karishma, they do manage to get access to their home.

Meanwhile, no one knows that Ram Gopal's villainous twin brother Shyam Gopal "Teja" Bajaj is planning to abduct him and impersonate him in order to travel to London. He's also dispatched his two sidekicks, Robert and Bhalla, to work as servants in Raveena and Karishma's home. Later, Amar and Prem learn that the affluent "Raveena" is actually the secretary "Karishma," and that the wealthy "Raveena" is truly the secretary "Karishma," as they swapped identities because Raveena wanted to find a good spouse for herself who would love her, not her money. Amar, on the other hand, continues to fall in love with the genuine Karishma, while Prem continues to fall in love with the real Raveena.

Soon after, Ram Gopal comes in India and, after witnessing Amar and Prem's actual natures, refuses to marry Raveena and Karishma, respectively. They arrange a fictitious kidnapping of him with the help of their pals, after which they would heroically "rescue" him, causing him to agree to their marriages. Teja also intends to kidnap Ram Gopal and steal all of his money, which has be transformed into diamonds, with the help of Robert and Bhalla. Amar and Prem are taken aback when Robert and Bhalla manage to kidnap Ram Gopal. They mistake Teja for Ram Gopal and take him to his house when they go to Teja's hiding to rescue him.

The next day, Raveena and Karishma inform Amar and Prem of their suspicions, and they learn the truth by discreetly following Teja to his hideout, where Ram Gopal fools him and escapes his jail. Amar and Prem, however, mistook him for Teja and imprisoned him once more, prompting Teja to imprison Amar and Prem as well before fleeing from his lair. Amar and Prem are nevertheless able to persuade Robert and Bhalla, as well as Ram Gopal, that Teja is innocent and liberate him from prison. Amar and Prem, as well as Robert and Bhalla, stop Teja from fleeing.

Meanwhile, throughout the film, Crime Master Gogo harasses Robert and Bhalla, demanding that Teja return his money, but he discovers Ram Gopal's gems and kidnaps him, along with Raveena and Karishma. Amar and Prem arrive at Gogo's lair and struggle to keep the situation under control with Ram Gopal as each villain's objective is revealed in a comedic standoff. The police, who had been summoned by Amar and Prem, were able to locate Gogo's lair and apprehend all of the crooks. Ram Gopal receives all of his gems back and agrees to Amar and Prem's marriages to Raveena and Karishma, respectively.
