Aye Mere Humsafar

Two sisters, Payal and Vidhi, reside with their mother, Surajmukhi. While Vidhi, who has a crippled leg, aspires to be an IAS officer, Payal wants to be an actor. Because of Payal's outward attractiveness, Ved, the son of Pratibha Devi, falls in love with her. But Vidhi's inner beauty and simplicity are the reasons Pratibha Devi picks her to be his son's marriage. As confusion occurs, Ved thinks that his marriage is arranged with Payal, but actually it is with Vidhi. Divya, who knows all of this, does not tell anyone and plans that after the planned marriage falls apart, she will let her sister marry Ved. Imarti wants her sister to take that place.

Ved tells his mother the truth after learning it, and Vidhi later finds out. She does not tell the truth when she informs her mother that she will not wed Ved. Divya informs her family, though. Surajmukhi is devastated. Pratibha eventually decides that Ved and Payal will wed, although she still has feelings for Vidhi. Surajmukhi concurs with this as well. Marriage rites then start. But Payal is pleased when Imarti employs a person to set up phoney rehearsals for her to act in. But she is absent for all the wedding customs.

Without being aware of the acting, Vidhi supports Ved and Payal rather than dissolving their marriage. However, Payal decides against becoming an actor and accepts that she will wed Ved at the Haldi ceremony. However, on the wedding day, Payal departs from the mandap and flees to become an actress, leaving a message behind in the mandap. Imarti degrades Vidhi and Surajmukhi. They both go from the Kothari home. Imarti then pretends to be anxious for Ved while filling Pratibha's ears. Surajmukhi eventually locks herself in a room and considers setting herself on fire. However, Pratibha Devi assures her that she will wed Vidhi and Ved.

The esteem of their family in society required Ved and Vidhi to wed.

Ved still has feelings for Payal and refused to get married to Vidhi. Meanwhile, a significant revelation emerged: Pratibha Devi had planned all of this as retaliation against Vidhi because she believed she had lost her only son as a result of Vidhi's error. Pratibha engaged in numerous plots to exact retribution. She took Payal hostage and accused Vidhi and her mother of scheming with a man to carry out this action by sending the man to the location of their honeymoon. This was used by Imarti, Divya, and Bharti, who forced Vidhi to leave the house.

During the Navratri week, Vidhi returns with the intention of establishing the innocence of both herself and her mother. When Bharti was later abducted by some thugs and Vidhi saved her, Bharti developed a warm spot in her heart for Vidhi.

On the festival of Karwa Chauth, Pratibha devised a massive plot against Vidhi. She informed Vidhi of Ved's kundli and asked her to perform Ved's puja. She also made an attempt to murder Vidhi. All of this was done truly by Vidhi, and Ved protected her from Pratibha Devi's grand scheme.

Payal returns to Vidhi's home after Karwa Chauth, and she still adores Ved. Taking advantage of this, Pratibha Devi indoctrinated Payal against Vidhi. Payal tried numerous strategies to earn Ved's affection, but she was unsuccessful because Ved is now only in love with Vidhi. When Vidhi learned that Pratibha Devi, her mother-in-law, was responsible for everything, she questioned her about it. Pratibha told Vidhi the entire tale, and Vidhi made the decision to leave the house in order to please her mother-in-law. She left the house, but Payal kidnapped her and threw her into the river after pushing her down a valley.

After one month

After Vidhi passed away, Ved fell into a profound despair and hasn't smiled or talked in a month. To help Ved's health, Pratibha Devi invites Komalkali, a Vidhi clone, into the home. In the meantime, Komalkali humiliated Divya and Imarti by failing all of their strategies. Stepfather of Komalkali tries to kidnap Komalkali and returns Raghu. Slowly, Komalkali began to harbour affections for Ved Irks Prathibha, who gave Raghu money.
