Produced by Prateek Sharma under the banner of LSD Films, Bahu Begum is an Indian romantic drama television series that aired on Colors TV from July 15, 2019, to January 21, 2020, and stars Arjit Taneja, Samiksha Jaiswal,Maera Mishra, and Diana Khan.

Ek Thi Begum Plot

Razia Mirza (Simone Singh), sometimes referred to as Bahu Begum, is the matriarch of a Bhopal-based dynasty. Her son Azaan (Arjit Taneja) relocated to London for academic purposes five years ago. As soon as he gets back, Razia begins to make plans for his nuptials to Noor (Samiksha Jaiswal), whose mother Yasmin is also a close acquaintance. When Azaan introduces Razia to his own love Shayra, she embraces her. Noor and Faiz, a colleague, are now engaged. Azaan marries Shayra on the same day that she will wed him. Azaan's nasty aunt Suraiya locks Yasmin and Faiz inside the kitchen, where a bomb kills them.

Shayra was the last person to leave the kitchen, therefore Noor holds her responsible. She begs Shayra to force Azaan, who eventually marries Noor but won't leave Shayra, to marry her. Later, she divorces Azaan after realising her error. Suraiya is also revealed and ejected from the house. Adil, Azaan's half-brother, abducts Shayra while she is pregnant. Adil runs over her with his car while Noor runs to save her. Shayra miscarries, falls off a cliff, and her death is assumed.

In five years

Begum Mahal is hosting an auction. Noor, now the wealthy acquire it. Azaan loses everything, thinks Shayra is still alive, and leads a horrible life. Adil borrows money against the royal family's properties.As Razia awakens from her coma, Noor is able to succeed in her attempt to return Azaan to his prior existence. Azaan, who is beginning a new life, asks her to marry him. She accepts, and the two of them embrace. In the epilogue, Shayra is shown to be still alive and makes a comeback. The Mirzas are in disbelief. The episode comes to an abrupt finish.
