Bala

The film is about a young man named Gaurav Rawat nicknamed Bala (Ayushmann Khurrana) who suffers from premature baldness and how he copes with the issue. The film, which revolves around Bala's daily struggle with hair loss, also explores his relationship with the two ladies in his life, played by Yami Gautam and Bhumi Pednekar.

Sachin-Jigar composed the music and background soundtrack, with guest composers Jaani and B Praak composing the song 'Naah Goriye,' which is a recreated version of the same musicians' 2017 single 'Naah.'

After the trailer for the film was released, the makers of Ujda Chaman, which also features a storyline similar to Bala, accused it of copyright infringement. Ujda Chaman is a remake of the Kannada film Ondu Motteya Kathe.

Bala received an IMDB rating of 7.3 out of 10. Critics gave Bala largely good reviews, praising the acting and the film's narrative.
