An Indian love triangle television programme called Dil Se Dil Tak is partially based on the 2001 Bollywood film Chori Chori Chupke Chupke. From 30 January 2017 to 1 June 2018, Colors TV broadcast the series, which starred Sidharth Shukla, Rashami Desai, Jasmin Bhasin, Pooja Singh, Rohan Gandotra, and Mohammed Iqbal Khan.

Parth Bhanushali, the Vadodara-based heir to the orthodox and rich Bhanushali family, falls in love with and weds Bengali employee Shorvori Bhattacharya, risking being rejected by his family in the process. 2 years later, Shorvori is expecting and Parth's family accepts her. Shorvori miscarries due to a tragic accident, making her sterile. She and Parth lie to his family about the miscarriage. Parth and Shorvori choose Teni, a carefree Gujarati who wants to reside in the US, as a surrogate in exchange for sending her to the country. She uses IVF to become pregnant with the couple's child. Teni is introduced to the family as Shorvori's cousin. They begin residing together. Teni confesses her love to Parth after developing a gradual crush on him. After learning about Teni's pregnancy, they are in disarray as Parth embraces the child as his own. Eventually, the surrogacy scenario is accepted by the family.

Shorvori breaks up with Parth because she mistakenly believes that he is cheating on her and having an extramarital affair with Teni. In order to assist Parth in coping with Shorvori's probable death, Teni pretended to leave him after learning that she had a terminal brain tumour. Shorvori files for divorce. Her actions raise suspicions in Parth. Shorvori has an accident and is thought to be dead. Parth finds it difficult to handle the anguish of losing her. Teni persuades him to move on.

Parth suspects Teni of killing Shorvori as a result of an error of judgement. Ipshita is born after Teni experienced early labour. Parth donates blood to save Teni's life because her life is in jeopardy. She complies with his demand that she leave the house in return. Parth eventually understands that Teni did not murder Shorvori. He falls in love with Teni. Parth declares his love to her as she prepares to go to the US, and she accepts his proposal. Shorvori was unconscious but is now awake. On the day of Parth's wedding, Shorvori comes to claim him but departs after spotting him with Teni. To locate Shorvori, the two travel to Nainital.

She begins her employment as a music instructor in Nainital. Parth marries Teni after concluding that he was dreaming about Shorvori. They do, however, run into Shorvori. They all get back home. Teni attempts to flee the household. However, the three of them chose to live with each other. Teni is about to go but trips over and loses her memory, leading to misunderstandings between Shorvori and Teni. Parth is blessed by Shorvori since she recognises that he loves Teni more than she does. Teni flees the Bhanushalis' house because she thinks they plan to sell her.

6 years later, Shorvori has expired. Teni has vanished. The family recognises elements of Ipshita in Teni. Teni, a sales manager who is engaged to Iqbal, enjoys a lovely life in Delhi. Parth and Teni eventually cross paths due to a series of events. Teni returns to Baroda in confusion to learn more about her background. Teni regains her memory and her affections for Parth when Bhanushalis reveal all to her. Iqbal cancels the wedding, and Teni chooses to wed him. He wishes them well since all he wants is for Teni to be content. As Iqbal departs, Parth and Teni are at last reunited and are contentedly cohabitating with Ipshita and her family.
