Drishyam

The Drishyam is an Indian Movie produced by  Panorama Studios. It was released on 31 July 2015. It is a remake of a 2013 Malayalam film named Drishyam. Drishyam is a thriller drama and murder mystery that revolves around finding the murderer of Sam, son of IG Meera Deshmukh, the role played by veteran actress Tabu. The lead stars of Drishyaam include  Ajay Devgn, Shriya Sharan, Tabu, Sonika Chopra, Ishika Dutta, and Rishab Chadda.

The story's plot revolves around the Salgoankar Family, who are living simple and happing middle-class life and finding joy in little moments. Ajay Devgn played the role of Vijay Salgoakar the head of the family, who is a common man but crosses all the limits to protect his family. Her daughter Anju requests,  Viay to allow her to go to nature camp, and when she went she met Sam, the son of IG Meera, stalks Anju throughout the whole camp. Sam Recorded her video with a hidden cell phone camera, her taking off her clothing and showering in the washroom.

One day, Sam comes to blackmail Anju for sexual favors, which Anju notifies her mother, Nandani. Sam refuses to erase the videotape unless his sexual demand is met, despite Nandini's pleas. Anju takes a swing at Sam with a lead pipe in an attempt to break the offending cell phone, but she instead hits him in the head, instantly killing him. They bury his dead in the backyard compost pile. Nandini informs Vijay about the incident when he comes from work the next morning, and he devises a plan to save his family. Ig Meera Deshmukh finds the murderer of her son throughout the movie. Sonika Chopra plays a significant role as Habeas Corpus Lawyer.

With the brilliant storyline and the idea of saving his family from trouble with the jaw-dropping climax ha stuck the audience with curiosity, The screenplay along with the narration perfectly justifies its story with the movie title “Drishyam”.
