Rahul (Imran Khan) has been raised by the Kapoors to be a go-getter because it is what his parents have always desired for their only child. However, Rahul is forced to see a counselor to express his worries after being fired from his new job in Las Vegas right before Christmas. There he meets hairstylist Riana Braganza, who just dumped her lover. 

On Christmas Eve, Riana and Rahul bond over cocktails and light up the town. They learn the following morning that they were married during their inebriated night before. They decide to dissolve the union, but when Riana's landlord evicts her because she can't pay her rent, she ends up in Rahul's house. Over the course of the next few days, they grow close.
