Happy New Year is an Indian Hindi Language Comedy Movie. Under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, Guari Khan produced the film. The main leads of the film include Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Boman Irani, Abhishek Bachchan, and Sonu Sood. Actors like Kiku Sharda, Puneet Vaishistha, and Shivanshu Anshika Sachan also played a remarkable cameo appearances in this movie.

On 23 Oct 2014, it was released in Dubai, and on 24th Oct 2014, it was released in India with a running time of 180 Minutes. The highest film release in India up until that point was Happy New Year, which had a total budget of 100 crores (US$13 million) and was released on Diwali 2014 with dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu. It gained around 4,200 screens in Hindi and 800 screens each in Tamil and Telugu. Making it both one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films ever as well as the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2014. The movie's script is on display in the library of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

The plot of the film centers around a part of their mission to carry off the largest diamond robbery ever seen, a group of losers turns into a team that captures the hearts of citizens through a dance competition in the city and around the globe.
