Indian sitcom Hum Paanch, often known as We Five, ran from 1995 to 1999. From 2005 through 2006, the show returned for a second season. Ashok Saraf, Vidya Balan, Rakhee Tandon, Bhairavi Raichura, and Vandana Pathak all acted in the programme.

The protagonist of Hum Paanch is Anand Mathur, a middle-class white-collar worker who often gets into difficulty due to his five children, Meenakshi, Radhika, Sweety, Kajal, and Chhoti. The three older daughters are the offspring of Anand and his first wife. The latter two are the daughters of Anand and Bina.

The five females have a strategy to try something new in each episode. His second wife, Bina, typically agrees with the girls' opinions, while Anand's first wife, who is deceased, communicates with him through a photograph of her hanging in the living room. The programme was a modest success and contributed to Zee TV's establishment.

Anand had just returned from a protracted sojourn in the United States when the show's second season began. Meenakshi and Radhika were wed, and Meenakshi was wed to Purush, whom she screams at and abuses like a servant. The other sisters refer to Daljeet Singh, Radhika's husband, as "Pape." He is a scientist that creates several inventions that cause the girls to encounter difficulties. He struggles with amnesia and frequently forgets fundamental information like people's names. Radhika's kid is called Gudiya, and Meenakshi's daughter is known as Damini.
