The story starts with a young woman named Payal who attends college and lives in India. She has a secret crush on Rajiv, an Indian college student. When they first meet, they both realise they are drawn to one another. Rajiv becomes wasted while having a picnic outside tries to flirt with Payal, and then admits that he just said so because of a bet he made with some of his college mates. Payal is startled and vows she will no longer see Rajiv. After this humiliation, she withdraws into herself, but Rajiv now makes a bet to date Alisha, another campus beauty. Alisha could become the next victim.

The film got an IMDB rating of 6.1 out of 10. Made with a budget of just Rs 50 million, Ishq Vishk ended up collecting Rs 122.63 million in total at the Box Office.
