An Indian television programme called Jaat Ki Jugni made its debut on Sony Entertainment Television on April 3, 2017, and it tells the love tale of a rural Jat man from Haryana and a reserved Jat lady. The main character Bittu, however, disagrees with the idea that all stories must have bad endings. He wants to disprove the widespread notion that all love stories must end happily with his own, symbolising the rebellious character of today's youth.

There will undoubtedly be fireworks when the route of the usual independent carefree fearless Jat male Bittu intersects with the shy and reticent Jat girl Munni, creating Jaat Ki Jugni a 'Visphotak Prem Kahani.'
