Jai Gabgaajal got ab IDB rating of 5.8 out of 10. The film ended up collecting Rs 495.9 Million rupees in total at the Box Office worldwide.

The film got mixed reviews from the critic however everyone appreciated the performances of Prakash Jha and Priyanka Chopra-Jonas. The story somehow lacked the essence of interest and was predictable sometimes.
