An Indian television programme called Jaana Na Dil Se Door aired on Star Plus. Vikram Singh Chauhan, Shivani Surve, and Shashank Vyas acted in it. Key roles in the programme are also played by Sara Khan, Smita Bansal, Vineet Kumar, and Shilpa Tulaskar. The programme concluded on June 30, 2017. 

In Ajmer, Vividha is content with her life. Kailash Kashyap, her father, is a hero in her eyes. Kailash firmly thinks that partnerships can only exist between people who are socially equal. Atharv does not suit Kailash's ideal match for his daughter because he is not equal to her and does not have a father's name. Kailash is therefore opposed to Atharv.

Vividha and Atharv meet several times before Atharv develops feelings for her. He declares that he will marry Vividha after starting his business. Kailash gets enraged by this and sabotages Atharv's prospects of success. Atharv is arrested after Kailash falsely accuses him. Atharv's mother, Sujata, begs Kailash to free her son from prison.

In exchange for her son's freedom, Kailash demands that they leave the city and begs for her house. In agreement, Sujata chooses to drive Atharv to Delhi.

Vividha's marriage to the son of a wealthy family is arranged by Kailash, and they visit her as a result. Vividha learns that Atharv is leaving the city at that point. She halts his departure. Since Kailash stole their house, Atharv and his mother are without a place to live, but Sujata had acquired the land in front of their home. As they settle down, Vividha gradually comes to understand that she also loves Atharv. But Kailash isn't yet prepared for their nuptials.

Later, Ramakant Vashisht, a Colonel in the Indian Army, returns home with just a limited amount of time to live. He requests Sujata's permission to meet his son. He guarantees to reunite Vividha and Atharv. He converses with Kailash about their union but passes away before they can finish. Taking advantage of this, Kailash informs the second family of Ramakant that his final wish was to marry his daughter Vividha to their son Ravish. While they are unsure of Ramakant's last request, they think Kailash and the Vividha-Ravish alliance will be fixed.

In the meantime, Kailash informs his family and Sujata's family that he has consented to Atharv and Vividha's union. The day of the wedding, however, Uma, Vividha's mother, discovers Kailash's true plans to take her daughter to Delhi for her marriage to Ravish. Vividha is instructed by Uma to meet Atharv, who is waiting for her at a nearby temple. Vividha divulges all to Atharv. Atharv guarantees to come back if they become separated when they complete their seven rounds.

Kailash confronts Atharv in the temple. She consents to marry whoever Kailash wishes her to in order to avoid her father from killing Atharv. Vividha is adamant about getting married to Ravish and then wrecking the union with him in order to exact revenge on her father.

Vividha ignores her mother's pleas for her not to do anything that will ruin the life of an innocent guy.

Ravish is required to take part in an emergency mission for the Indian Army on the day of their wedding. Vividha wishes he would perish while on the assignment. However, Ravish marries Vividha after completing it successfully. Vividha is disrespectful to Ravish after their marriage, which confuses her and prompts him to inquire as to why. Vividha continues to deceive Ravish despite lying about her intentions to wed him. Later, she feels guilty because he and his family have been so kind to her. Ravish eventually develops feelings for Vividha.

Suman, the mother of Ravish, adores Vividha as much as her own daughter and has always been there for her. Ravish carries out his husbandly responsibilities. Vividha learns to act better after witnessing the goodness of Ravish's family, although she still lies to them. Vividha begins to sense Atharv's presence in the house, but she initially dismisses it as her imagination. Atharv is shown to be alive and hiding with his mother Sujata under Ravish's care because Atharv is Ravish's half-brother. Atharv has become mentally unstable as a result of being assaulted by Kailash's thugs. After a few days, Vividha learns that Atharv is in the house being looked after by Ravish, but she quickly sees that he has lost his mental equilibrium.

When Vividha visits Kailash's home, she is unable to locate him. Vividha does not accept Uma's explanation that Kailash is missing and that the police suspect he is dead. She tells everyone about Atharv's mental disorder, cuts off all contact with Kailash, and makes a promise to do the same with Ravish so she can help Atharv get back to normal. Sujata learns that Vividha is Ravish's wife in the meantime. Because she doesn't want Vividha to reenter Atharv's life, she makes the decision to leave Ravish's house. She is resisted by Ravish. Sujata slaps Vividha when she gets home and tells Ravish the truth. Vividha is compelled to tell Ravish that she still has feelings for Atharv.

Ravish is devastated, but he chooses to assist with their reunion and requests some time to tell his family the truth. In agreement, Vividha chooses to keep her relationship with Atharv a secret. After a few days, the family is informed about Atharv and Sujata's secret. Suman wants to kick them out of the home, but Ravish persuades her that Sujata and Atharv are entitled to the property in the same way. Guddi, Vividha's sister, visits the Vashisht residence in the meantime and is drawn to Ravish. Vividha tries to send Guddi back to Ajmer after realising what she wants to do, but Guddi won't leave and decides to tell everyone Atharv and Vividha's secret. She falls down the steps just as she is ready to die.

Vividha believes it was murder, while everyone else believes it was an accident.

Zeenat, an enemy of Ravish's, breaks into the home to attack Ravish and his family after Ravish had detained Zeenat's terrorist husband. Zeenat-led terrorists attack the Vashisht household. Despite saving his family, Ravish and Atharv get harmed in the melee.

When the Vashisht family learns the truth about Atharv and Vividha, Dadaji becomes enraged. When Vividha catches him trying to kill Atharv, he switches to trying to kill Vividha. To preserve Vividha, Atharv battles alongside Dadaji. Atharv is beaten by Dadaji and dropped into a deep pond. As his grandfather is being arrested, Ravish arrives and realises what has transpired.

Atharv is not found despite the rescue team's best efforts. Sujata and Vividha believe that Atharv is still alive even though everyone else believes he is dead.

After convincing Sujata, they carry out Atharv's funeral rites under the impression that he has passed away. Ravish and Vividha get a divorce after Vividha considers herself a widow. But Vividha is told by Sujata to take 'ulta pheras' (ritual of breaking marriage). Ravish is pleaded with by Vividha to end their union. Atharv, who has reclaimed his memories, joins them just as they are ready to do ulta pheras. Later, Vividha makes the decision to accompany Atharv back to Ajmer.

While everything is happening, Ravish is attacked by the terrorists but manages to defend himself and escapes unharmed. Atharv and Vividha are perplexed by their reunion when Ravish returns. By divorcing Vividha, Ravish makes his position obvious. Atharv flees the wedding on the day of their nuptials while Vividha waits for him. Following this treachery, Vividha asks Ravish once more to start a new life and give their marriage another opportunity. She ties the knot with Ravish once more. It is revealed that Ravish consented to remarry Vividha in order to conceal her pregnancy and shield her from social criticism because she became pregnant with Atharv's kid without formally divorcing Ravish, with whom she was legally wed.

Four years later, it is seen that Vividha and Ravish are still together, happily residing in Vividha's house with Sujata and her family, and they have a son named Madhav. While Atharv has grown into a successful businessman and is depicted as living with Suman in her home as her son with the new name Raghav Suman, Ravish has been carrying out all the duties of a decent husband and parent. He is married to the expectant Guddi. Guddi never passed away, it is later discovered. Drugs are being given to Atharv by Guddi and Suman.

When Madhav becomes unwell, the doctor tells Vividha and Ravish that Madhav has a rare condition. The doctor needs a DNA sample from Madhav's father to treat the illness.

The family is informed by Vividha at this point that Madhav is Atharv's son. Vividha and Madhav enter Raghav's home while acting suspiciously. Madhav's existence in the home is questioned by Suman. Vividha pledges to obtain a DNA sample from Atharv. Kalindi decides to assassinate Atharv.

Sujata shoots Suman after she tries to assassinate Atharv. Suman's murder leads to Sujata's arrest. Ravish saves Sujata before the trial even starts. Guddi's crimes are exposed in front of everyone by Vividha. Vividha decides to go back to Atharv as soon as Atharv arrives, forgetting all the sacrifices made by Ravish. Being a good gentleman, Ravish once more releases Vividha. Atharv and Vividha successfully consummate their third marriage, and they joyfully go for their honeymoon.

Ravish's automobile hits a woman in the meantime. After the mishap, he drives the mysterious woman home. Since the girl has forgotten her past, the family has given her the name Kangana. Ravish begins to feel sorry for Kangana but soon discovers that she is responsible for both the murder of Bhoomi and Vipul and the disappearance of Kalindi. Kangana's real name is Tara, and she is Madhav's biological mother. She is merely a pawn in the hands of Kailash Kashyap, who traded Vividha's daughter Khushi for Tara's son Madhav. Kangana cannot have Madhav, according to Vividha. Then, in order to obtain custody of her son Madhav, Kangana marries Ravish. Ravish gets deceived once more since he is blameless.

When Vividha visits the temple, she discovers Kailash there in terrible shape. She brings him inside. When Atharv sees Kailash, he becomes enraged and anxious about losing Vividha once more. Kailash is a typical person, as Ravish realises. Vividha clashes with Ravish despite his opposition to her choice to allow Kailash to remain in the Vashisht home. Vividha accuses Kangana and Ravish of trying to kill Kailash and places the blame on them.

Kangana and Ravish make an effort to show Kailash's true face. Kailash stabs Ravish during this process. Vividha notices the knife wound on Ravish's body. She recognises the knife in Khushi's hand and accepts responsibility. Atharv declares that he will never accept Vividha's murder of Ravish.

It is made known that Kailash killed Ravish in order to keep Atharv and Vividha apart. Madhav is transported to Ajmer by Kailash. He threatens to kill Madhav if Vividha refuses to marry a wealthy guy. She's prepared to wed Vivek. When Atharv arrives in Ajmer, Madhav is saved.

Atharv and Kailash get into a heated argument. Kailash shoots himself after reflecting about his time with Vividha. His instant demise. The programme then jumps forward three months to demonstrate Sujata and the Kashyaps' contented lifestyle.
