Jhalli Anjali is a programme similar to the many youth-focused programmes that were broadcast on Channel V. It debuted every Monday through Thursday from 7:30 to 8:00. It recently began on May 12 and ran through October 22, 2014. Niranjan Iyengar and Rose Audio Visual Films collaborated on its production. It stars Chandni Bhagwanani and Zaan Khan in the lead roles. 

The primary character of Anjali, performed by Chandani Bhagwanani, has a slightly different plot than the love stories that have previously been featured on Indian television. This one begins with Anjali falling head over heels for a man. When the guy dumps her, things take a significant turn, and she eventually manages to rise above all the anguish and misery to achieve success. The plot of this comedy is based on the wildly popular Bollywood film Kuch Kuch Hota hai, which included superstar cast members Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Kajol. Even the character names are taken directly from the film, with Anjali serving as the lead in both.

Anjali is seen to be protective of a character named Angad and maintains spies to track his whereabouts because he is her best friend but also someone she is deeply in love with. He ultimately betrays her, at which point she begins to live and develop her own life.

The show's major message is directed at today's young, who are told that being disappointed in a relationship shouldn't stop them from pursuing their goals.
