Jism is a 2003 Indian sexual thriller film that was produced by Pooja Bhatt and Sujit Kumar Singh under the names Fish Eye Network Ltd and Shreya Creations. It was directed by Amit Saxena and written by Mahesh Bhatt. Along with Gulshan Grover, Ranvir Shorey, and Sheeba Chaddha playing supporting parts, it has John Abraham and Bipasha Basu in the key roles.

In Pondicherry, Kabir, an unhappy, relatively impoverished, alcoholic lawyer, leads a playboy lifestyle. Siddharth, a police officer, and Vishal, a coworker, who are Kabir's closest pals, strive to keep him out of trouble. He meets Rohit Khanna's lovely wife Sonia Khanna, who is a millionaire traveller.

Kabir discovers himself falling head over heels in love with Sonia during their turbulent relationship. She claims that her husband is capable of killing them both, and he proposes that she get a divorce. Finally, Sonia persuades Kabir to kill her husband while making it appear like an accident. She also advises that Rohit's will be changed to ensure that she receives the entirety of his estate. Despite Kabir's best efforts to convince her, she changes the will such that it no longer names him as executor. Priyanka, Rohit's sister, tries to forewarn him that Sonia is simply after his money and that she has already murdered Rohit's first wife. The case's lead investigator, Siddharth, has suspicions about Kabir and must choose between loyalty and friendship.

Sonia is persuaded to leave the city by Kabir. He doesn't realise she merely wants the money until she sends someone to kill him. When Kabir confronts her, Sonia claims she never loved him. She shoots him when he makes a threat to come forward and confess his crime to the police. Despite having an abdominal wound, he is still able to stand. As he stands, Sonia runs up to tell him that she has always loved him. After a passionate kiss, Sonia pulls the trigger on the gun. As he lays Sonia down on the sofa, it becomes clear that Kabir had shot her in the stomach.

After that, he runs away and phones Siddharth, telling both of them to meet him at the beach. When they run across Kabir, he apologises and tells them that all he wants to do is watch the sunrise one more time. Kabir sees Sonia approaching him in a vision as they observe the sunrise. Kabir grinned to himself before succumbing to his wound.
