From 16 November 2020 until 27 August 2021, Sony SAB broadcast the Indian television programme Kaatelal & Sons, which was produced by Contiloe Entertainment and starring Jiya Shankar, Megha Chakraborty, Ashok Lokhande, Sachin Chaudhary, Sahil Phull, and Vinay Rohrra, and Vivek Sharma.

The twin sisters Susheela and Garima, who go against patriarchal conventions to take over the family's historic salon, Kaatelal & Sons, after their father suffered an accident, were initially the main focus of the story. They quickly realise that the saloon was their true love.
