Panga is a Hindi sports drama movie director by Aswiny Iyer Tiwari starring Kangana Ranaut from the year 2020. The film is built around the sport of Kabbadi.

Panga was released in the year 2020 on the 24th of January. Panga is also available on OTT platforms like Disney+ Hotstar. The movie is as long as 2h 11m.

The film is produced under the banner of Fox Star studios and the main Panga casts include Kangana Ranaut, Jassi Gill, Yagya Bhasin, Richa Chadda, and Neena Gupta.

Javed Akhtar wrote the words, and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy wrote the music for the movie.

Panga is an emotional roller coaster tale of a middle-class Indian woman rooted in the subculture of societal facts, is the story of a forgotten Kabaddi world champion who ignites an inner desire to give a new meaning to her existing role as a wife and mother and makes the brilliant decision to return to the sport despite the challenges of age stereotypes and new generation complexities, which causes an upheaval in her life as she is torn between societal pressures of family and responsibility and admiration for the sport.

Over the course of more than two months, the actors who play kabaddi players in the movie, including Ranaut, received kabaddi instruction.

The film got an IMDB rating of 6.8 out of 10. When Panga was released, it garnered a lot of positive reviews from critics who applauded both Radhika Ranaut's acting and the movie's message. Panga was the tenth highest-grossing movie of the year after earning $41.71 crore worldwide throughout its theatrical run.

At the 67th National Film Awards, Ranaut won the National Film Award for Best Actress for her work in Panga. In total, Ranaut won four National Film Awards; this was her third victory in the category.
