Poison is a Hindi crime thriller web series streamed on the Ott Platform Zee5 from the year 2019 and is directed by Jatin Wagle. One of the 72 shows that were revealed at ZEE5's first-anniversary celebration in February 2019 was Poison.

The premise of Poison is based on retribution and features several obscure tales.

Directed by Jatin Wagle, the web series is produced by Bhakti Pendke, Purnima Pendke, Jatin Sethi, and Bhargava Amit under the production banner of Altus Media. The main Poison cast includes Tanuj Virwani, Freddy Daruwala, Arbaaz Khan, Riya Sen, Romiit Raj, Archanna Guptaa, and Pankaj Dheer among many others.

Tanuj's character, Ranveer, finishes serving his prison term for a crime he didn't commit. In an effort to exact retribution, he travels to Goa. Aspiring police commissioner Vikram (Freddy) goes out to capture Antonio Verghese (Arbaaz), a don who runs his business out of Goa. The central conflict of the series is what transpires when the lives of these three guys intertwine.

Poison received an IMDB rating of 7.5 out of 10. The creators of Poison 2 did a great job with the writing and the plot. The plot has a solid foundation thanks to the background music. Poison 2's second season, premiered on October 16, 2020, on the Zee5 platform.
