Shaka Laka Boom Boom is a very popular Hindi language kids TV Serial that first aired on DD National from 15 October 2000. It was later renewed for 3 more seasons by Star Plus and aired till 10 October 2004. It was directed by Vinod Kumar Singh and Pawan Parkhi and had Kinshuk Vaidya and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles.

The story revolves around Sanju, played by Kinshuk Vaidya who stumbles upon a magical pencil that can give life to whatever is drawn from it. Its all fun and games in the beginning till Sanju starts realising the true mystical powers of the pencil and starts using it to fight the antagonists of the series. From aliens to magical beings, Sanju has fought all kinds of enemies and is always accompanied by his gang in the quest to fight the evil doers. 

Shaka Laka Boom Boom was an instant hit among kids and parent alike and is still talked about in the popular culture. It was one of the very first serials that kids of the early 2000s came across and are still mesmerised by the beauty and the story of the serial that was put in a kid's show. The star cast also includes Hansika Motwani, Aditya Kapadia, Romiit Raaj, Reema Vohra and Kalyani Nerurkar, among others.
