Son Pari is a children's fantasy adventure tv series that ran on Star Plus from 23 November 2000 until 1 October 2004. In the series, a young girl named Frooty receives a mystical orb that, when rubbed, calls a fairy known as Son Pari and her companion Altu. Mrinal Kulkarni, Ashok Lokhande, Tanvi Hegde, Kaivalya Chedda, and Deepshika Nagpal play the main characters in the show.

A novice scientist named Bunty captures a dove to offer it to his mentor for an experiment. Bunty and the researcher want to kidnap Son Pari so they may use her to make money by displaying her to the public. Frooty released the dove without realising that it belonged to Son Pari, a fairy who frequently visits Earth with Pari Ma, the fairy queen's consent.

Frooty's mother passed away years ago. Frooty believes her mother to be one of the stars, so she goes to the balcony to observe them. Son Pari offers her friendship one night in exchange for the help Frooty previously offered her. The tale of their peculiar friendship begins here. Son Pari and Altu begin hanging out with Frooty frequently and go on lots of excursions. They assist her in getting rid of Ruby, a potential bride for Frooty's wealthy father Rohit. Ruby's brother assists Ruby, but Son Pari and Altu make sure they fail. 

Son Pari later understands that Frooty is in grave danger because it is predicted that Frooty will destroy Kali Pari, the primary antagonist of Season 2. Frooty is cared for and shielded from Kali Pari for a little period of time by Tooty, a fairy who resembles Frooty.

Son Pari and Altu are invisible to everyone, but a new figure named Princy will appear much later and be able to see them. There are other subplots in the series, but eventually, Frooty will be able to assassinate Kaali Pari, bringing an end to the evil.
