Stree is an Indian Hindi Language Romantic Horror Comedy Drama Movie. It was produced by  Dinesh Vijan, Raj, and D. K under the banner of  Maddock Films and D2R Films. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Roa are in the lead roles. A well-Known actor Gagan Arora who is famous for his web performances and stand-up Comedy is the Assistant Director of the movie Stree. Stree was released on August 31, 2018, with a running time of 128 Minutes.

The story revolves around a ghost that knocks on people's doors at night, according to the Rayalaseema mythology known as Oh Stree Repu Ra (translation: Oh woman, come tomorrow) from the 1980s. 

When it was first released, the film earned rave reviews, particularly for the performances of Kapoor, Rao, and others. Stree became a significant critical and financial success with earnings of over 180.76 crores against a budget of 20 crores. Rao learned to sew as part of his training for his job as a tailor. The movie is the first release in Dinesh Vijan's world of horror-comedies, which also includes Roohi (2021) and Bhediya (2022).

The Narrative of the movie Stree centers around The residents of Chanderi is constantly terrified of Stree, a female ghost that preys on men at night during celebrations. Together with his friends, Vicky(Rajkumar Rao) decides to solve the riddle. In this process, Vicky fell in love with an Unknown Woman (Shraddha Kapoor). They together find a way to get rid of Stree(The ghost).
